thats all their is , and chavs
Edwin
Quit your bitching... a skateparks a skatepark, yeah some are worse in quality than others but skaters must be versatile to skate in all sorts of conditions.
Mr Ridout
Seconded, and if you don't like it you can eat a fat dick skate somewhere else.
Rodney
Thirded, and if you don't like it you can skate somewhere else eat a fat dick.
Aracmia
There is no need to be a bunch of arses. There is nothing wrong with this topic, there is a lot of badly constructed parks out there. Here is your chance to help skaters avoid them.

I have already put this up elsewhere but this is perhaps the worst park in my area.

IPB Image
KMA
it is bad but i would still give it a sesh
Aracmia
Actually that picture makes the middle part look higher than it is, its about 10cm in height.

Are you for real? It's tits like you that cause the councils to provide that shit in the first place. There's NO excuse for a park like that. Are you seriously suggesting that we should be thankful for that shit?? I suppose if you bought a car and it didn't work you'd not bitch?
Try thinking before spouting shit in future.
Aeris
I know one, right around the corner... actually two, but one of them isnt as bad. the other one has curbs which are partly (50%) in the grass, a cornerquarter (?) with about 5 cm space to place your feet on and a surface which is absolutely not even but rather consists of invisible wobbles... gotta take a pic of it

oh, and its packed with chavs of course
Fozzz
I think my local Birchwood might be a winner, there are pictures floating about somewhere. Anyway, it consists of 4 ramps, each on different edges of the park, meaning you have to travel quite far to reach the next ramp. It's metal of course and the floor is unneven and damaged. There are no rails or funboxes...
Jonn
Eastern, my local. I really do hate it some times.

i wish that was my local
Spence
Not when you see some of the knobheads/smashed glass up there.
Trix
It is a preety good park, but the amount of dickheads in the summer takes the piss.

Is fun to skate in Winter though.
Spence
In Winter it is so fun, cos you can't skate it that much because of the weather, but when you can and theres no dickheads there, you can have a whale of a time.

Kezbob
ill have to get pics of mine soon its worse than all of them(i think)
Gorg.
where my gran lives, dartmouth, there is THE worst skatepark in britain, it has a rusty flatbank, a funbox and a toppled over quartper pipe. but it doesnt matter, because the ground is so rough, you can hardly move on a skateboard anyway. unfortunately i dont have pictures.

some of the parks you guys (and gals) have posted aren't that bad. the park in the first post looked reasonable (by british standards) and so did the one darris posted.

Kezbob
but thats not a skatepark thats just an obstacle
Serapth
Correct. However the local council paid some company to install a skatepark in that field.. and thats what they got!

Imagine how pleased the local skaters were.
Kezbob
well if it classes as a skatepark then thats worse than mine
but mine is still shit

Isn't that "The world's greates park" from Skidding the Rim?

I also have a terrible park nearby (metal quarter, metal spine and metal slope in a row, all the metal bends when you go on it and it's on the same surface as a gravel football pitch), but that one takes the biscuit tongue.gif
DoM-DoM
not in london but i get the train into london then get the tube to brixton or southbank. It takes ages though.....

i think that had a rail.
DoM-DoM
even though it takes me a while to get there, when im there its the best so i spose i souldnt be complaining.... Merry christmas
Skater_Tom
I haven't been to a bad park but some of those above are totally wnk
Chapel Tom
I reckon Chapel skate park is crap for skaters

A 5ft roll in straight into a spine, then up to a 4 ft driveway, followed by a 5ft quarter

It is crap and the surface is rubbish due to wet leaves being everywhere and the concrete is damaged
Adamregskater
There's a brand new skatepark bircotes (near doncaster) and boy is it shit. The funbox is ok, but it's a armac surface with metal ramps with a plastic coating have been put on!!! (on of those flatpack jobs ¬_¬ pffft)

Anyway theres a spine and a jumpbox both 1 foot high (if that), theres about 4 quarter pipes and all around 4ft yet go almost to vert like pool walls and a flatbank that has around a 60 degree transition!!!

Why cant the goverment/ councils ever get anything right!!
rickydavies
theres was 4 skateparks in my local area but know 3 as the one was called the youth no one used in all wooden verts spines the lot

theres an indoor one called 3rd dimention also known as ramppage

theres perdiswell my fav 10 mins away

and dines green which is small but fun

any one bit to anyof them???

there in worcester
Deathvein
There's a place called Bryn which is just over a mile from my house and they have a skate park up in the mountains. All they have is a rustic steel mini ramp.
Adamregskater

Theres this "Skatepark" in my old town Steyning which literaly is a piece of tarmac with a kurb on 1 side with like 2cm gaps in between em.

Its also of a huge slope.

Not to mention its covered in glass and chavs..

Theres also a massive hole in the middle from some wankers making bonfires in it lol.

The skatepark I live by now tho is pretty good apart from the bladers that wax the rails and coping -.-

I'm not talking about a light scraping of wax to make it easier..

I'm talking about unnesersary amounts so you fall arse over tit.

They sometimes heavily wax the bottom of the mini so when you do a trick you slide everywhere as if its pissing with rain :/
