Ams
Hi all,

I've been skating for a week now and having alot of fun. The parks and people of the Fylde (nr Blackpool) have all been fabulous.

However, on Monday I move back to Haringey in north London. I will be quite close to Finsbury park. Can anyone suggest some good skate spots, or even wants to introduce me to them?

In need of your help,

This is a summary of the other posts about London skate spots, to save people from reposting. I really want to know if any of parks in North London have good skatespots. However if you have anything to add about the places listed below or links to photos that would be cool too.

London skate spots
============

Southbank is lit and free.

Jump on the train from Wood Green, get off at Leicester Square and jump back on the Northern Line and get off at Embankment. It is close enough to walk, but train is quicker sometimes.

Walk out of the exit on your right hand side, up the stairs, over the bridge, walk along the river with the water on your left, you'll bump into Southbank. Can't miss it. Graffitti'd up place with random obstacles!

Southbank will have no street address as it's just a section of the river. what you need to do is to head in the way of the theatre and the museum of moving image. best way is when you get to waterloo station head to the exit which is close to the Eurostar, that bridge will take you all the way out to the river it's about 200metres. After that head right along the river and you should hear the sound of boards hitting concrete.

Bay66 (Playstation) - www.baysixty6.com

Meanwhile bowls which are just up the road from Bay66 are good fun.
There’s also Royal Oak too. Pioneer in St. Albans but that’s a bit of a trek and there’s countless spots around London city centre.
Canary Warf has some amazing spots but security is really, really tight round there.
Shell

I live in Hackney and regularly skate Hackney bumps. It’s a funny old concrete park, but fun. You best bring a broom to sweep up the glass and disfigured bodies.

Daubney Green

St. Pauls
Moorgate
Tower Bridge

It’s a £20 on the spot fine for sk8ing in the city square mile. Most skaters report getting warnings and never having been fined.

Stockwell skatepark is sik (Is Stockwell in London?)

Outside London
==========

I'm from NW London and i know a few decent spots. first few are in the Harliquin shopping centre(in Watford just outside of London.) a corridor that has a really good surface. also behind the shop next theres a stair set (not sure how many). There’s supposed to be some more in there but i havent found them yet.

Also St. Annes Shopping Centre in Harrow (opposite Harrow and the Hill station) i can get in there when it’s closed. Its all marble floors, a marble 4 set with rails.
Myk
Hey Ams long time no speak! Does that mean you're not coming back to St Annes ever again?
