Any thinking this series could be a lot less about mstery and more about action? I hope not, it just seemed that the writers were using any excuse possible for someone to be swinging a gun around last season.

I have been reading the plan is for Lost to be aired for six episodes, then there will be a 13 week break whilst the network puts something else on, then Lost will return for the rest of its run.

I heard about that, thought it was a rumour. American TV is the sittest thing ever, why split up a show like that?

I didn't understand on the very last episode when the huge magnet thingy went of and the whole sky lit up.

Apparantly it ups the ratings on the second half of the season. Prison Break got more viewers when they did the same. Personally I don't see the point. There will be six episodes from October the 4th, there will then be an unbroken block of episodes from February onwards (can't find out if they mean the rest of the season or another portion). Lots of fans were moaning that there was too many repeats, so this is how they have gotten round it.

The show that will be put on in its place its Day break. It's like Groundhog Day for the tv:

It was rather a boring episode, although the beginning was quite intriguing. The only part that was entertaining was Sawyers efforts to escape leading to getting a fish biscuit.

In the episode she has that list about Jacks life and things like Darma dropping crates of food, means they have some sort of contact with the outside world. But if they have contact with the outside world why would they allow the button from the previous hatch to go manned by just 1 person and the new woman implies they were a larger group before, so why wouldn't they get more people too come to the island confoooosion

Because if there's only one person in the hatch, they theoretically will never forget to press the button, because they'll be so paranoid about missing it.

They don't get in more people, because the more people they have at their camp, the higher the chances of being discovered.

lol. the end of the world happens because of some minor action e.g. person breaks leg, person gets KO'd, person sleeps in, person gets pissed and decides not to press.

But its already been proven that the end of the world dosen't happen when the button isn't pressed.

I can't wait till season 3 is on tv, but I think a have to wait a few months

The world was not coming to an end. The "magnet" was overpowering, meaning it would draw in ships and planes etc. If the overpowering of the "magnet" causes the end of the world, then what kept it safe before Hanso/Dharma arrived on the island?

And it's obvious dharma Is a facilty designed to test animals (dolphins/sharks/bears), and humans (the button).

Its strange though, that for an island used to test animals, that there is so little wildlife.
