Yeah the park is, its in the worst possible place and covered in gravel.. theres actually another not far from there thats even worse.
Council seem to build them in shit areas to show they are doing their bit for the community.

Yet a small town like clitheroe gets a big great park, where blackpool and preston two bigger towns with probably alot more youth, get left with this type of poo

Quite possible, the concrete set up is generic (better than the gbh/freestyle shit though) ive seen a few parks dotted around the north of the uk exactly they same.
The one hny with added moose (laura change your name its a pain to type out) mentioned is in clitheroe, lit up at night and is totally free to skate.

Argos car park near the train station is pretty good but tight security and crap ground . Two nice banks that go from steep as hell to lower further down and a bit up the road theres two 3 sets. You cant beat the uni though love them banks and the 5 set
Serapth
Dec 11 2006, 08:14 AM
Yeah the grounds well shite, and the security kicks you off pretty fast too, the hip/kicker near the underground entrance used to be pretty fun too, but the grounds crap.
You ever managed to skate st.georges car park without getting thrown off?
Rob.
Dec 18 2006, 05:54 PM
Hm saw a nice 4set near the courts. allso saw a bank near National tyres, and a fat ass ledge but i dont know where. know if any are safe to skate? ill definately pay Preston a visit when it drys up.

Serapth
Dec 19 2006, 06:38 PM
Yeah, i like it there. Its lit up and dry most of the time which is a bonus, plus theres a variety of stuff to skate.. Stair sets, loading bay gaps, handrails, manual pads, sloped manual pads, steep bank, couple of blocks and a manny pad/block into bank combo thing too.
Its pretty much bust free, theres usually quite a few people skating there too, if you do decide to go use common sense and go after 6pm when its quiet.

Long three to road.. excuse the gash photo, there was cars there at the time, weekends should be ok though.

Couple of undercoverish benches, lit up at night though, theres a few small stair sets, a few huges ones too as well as big and small gaps right round the corner from it, security kicked me off before i could take more photos though.

Yeah they can be hippy jumped, boardslid/grinded. They are bigger than they look on the photos though, just a tad smaller than a bench in height... they are round the back of hollywood express in preston.

I saw some people skating under the M55 bridge on Saturday in between Longridge and Preston, actually, I nearly *hit* some people skating under the M55 bridge

One of the boards flew into the road and someone thought it was a good idea to follow it. Its good job I was driving slow watching what they were doing
