i learned how to ollie in the summer holidays and i were starting to land kickflips, but these days i cant do anything...must be because i havent practised to much since then.

Professional skaters still practice on their ollies as we speak. They're constantly trying to improve their ollie heights and distances.

i pretty pissed of at myself. Just went out for a quick skate, were trying my ollies and i was getting the hight, but my feet just kept slipping off the side...

It took me about 2 weeks whilst statioary and about two months to get em up curbs.

took me atleast a good solid 6 months to learn to ollie about 3 inchs high, and i still cant ollie down anything... :<. Got ollieing up curbs on lockdown tho

Got my new board yesterday, and instantly had to give it a wirl around ipswich.

Yeh i am soo pleased, only had my new board since monday, only been skating a week, practicing about 2-3hours a day, getting very sweaty long hair....
But it has so payed off!

In total it took me a year to ollie up a curb. A fucking year!

Although now about 7/8 years down the line i can ollie up a picnic bench and have succesfully ollie about 6/7 stacked decks. My all time favorite trick!

i learnt to ollie in about two months, but i didnt spend much time trying it i spent like 10 minutes every two weeks, anyway i can't ollie moving yet thats probably gonna take me another month or something

its like you do everything so easy at youg age but once you hit 17 you feel like a right old fart

took me about a week stationary in a gravel pit for a few hours a day for a week, then as soon as i tried it up kerbs i could do them. i can ollie down kerbs and 2 sets, but 3's are still too hard :S

it took me about a year. sadly. but once i got them i realised what i had been doing wrong, and after that i could do it every time. now, because im happy doing them i learnt to ollie 2 sets, then 3 sets very quickly. so im happy.

Something I read recently. apparently women lose 1/2 their natural level of testosterone by age 40 compared to @ 20...and so you get more fear the older you get. damn

I had to learn from a photo sequence, because i had no access to videos and i was the only one i knew who was even skating back then, so it took me a good 2 or 3 months of pretty much solid trying.
And i still hate them.

took me ages just to learn to ollie it was like 2-3 months, but now im trying to do a kickflip and there just so hard i can the board to spin a bit but i dont reaaly know what to do

about a week ish, anda bout 3 weeks to get consistant. but, anything else(flips, etc) have taken years.

Well, i havent been skating for like 3 years & i just got my old board out the garage & popped one. but originally back in the day probably 2 - 3 weeks?
