chorley isnt too bad, i live just like 5mins away in astley village which tbh can be pretty rough but if you choose the right time to skate the spots, weekend afternoons mainly you dont get any trouble..
chorleys where i learnt to skate, theres enough to keep you entertained, but once youve skated there like 2/3years like i have the place gets a bore, like any town i imagine, i didnt think anyone really made the effort to trek into chorley to skate the stuff though besides lesuire banks and the odd stair set there isnt much else, well besides a whole load of industrial estates, as sken always says we use to have a strong scene here, but besides myself and a few others we are the only ones who tend to street it round these parts..
if anyone is treking down, give us a shout, and i'll give yas the guided tour

Theres 4 or 5 older guys from up pall mall way, they seem to skate holy cross now and them, seen them around preston too on the odd occasion.
Chorley had a pretty amazing scene in the early 90s, three skateshops(Sampsons on pall mall, knightingales on market street and soul skates on water street), 2 of which where skater owned & operated(soul skates and knightingales), at least 30-40 skaters if not more. Good times, good vibes and some of the sketchiest backyard mini ramps ever.
There used to be a full size half pipe on wasteground in clayton le woods, opposite the martindales near asda, admitingly this was not the best built ramp ever, it worked, although all i ever did was pump and see how close i could get to the coping..which wasnt very close.
There was a crew from euxton and quite a few lads from coppul, as well as a small ish group from whittle le woods too.
Had some good sessions at back lane, was a little hectic with 30 people there though.
