King of the Howman. They're actually selling it, I mean some of it is good, but it consists of 10 separate videos, 8 of which are dull as hell.

I also hated Birdhouse's "The End". Also dull.

And most videos released between 94 and like 2000 (as these were the "not tech as early 90s and not as good street as in 2000s)

Wierd, I loved it, Jump off a building that is.

Opinion was pretty bad as far as skate videos go. The only decent parts were Chet Thomas's part and Mullens, though the music and editing was fucking terrible on the latter.

The Kayo Corp vid was absolutly terrible. My god, just wank...

i didnt rate chichagof and the fkd bearings vid aint too good either.

both have a couple of good parts, but nothing spesh.

Elementality Vol. 1 wasn't that good. I wouldn't say it's the worst though.

I honestly can't say one, mainly because most skate vids are similar.

I liked that vid wasn't the nest but deffiently not eh worst!



Haha more fool you for buying DVD's i dont buy any just download unless it's for a worthy cause like a small compnay or an idependant maker (andy evens 'this n that') etc.


HOW TO GO PRO!!!! Was SHIT!! the first 2 mins was slightly intresting but i just left it after that!

DVDs are worth buying
- better quality
- bonus features
- u can copy it to your pc then you can sell the dvd once your bored of it

and i hate downloading

but i downlaod DVD quality movies with the bonous features then i can just burn onto a dvd if i need to!

i snapped my copy! i think its one of those vids that you either love or hate, coz one of my mates used to watch it religously.

In my skate park earlier on, some dude said that Sorry was one of the worst skate flicks he'd ever seen.
I think he's the first person I know to hate it.

Exactly! It's probably one of the best skate videos of all time, if not, THE best.

The only reason everyone thinks round 3 is amazing is because it has hardly any switch skating, therefore everything they do looks better.

I didn't like the DC video, every section was the same.

Almost round three had skating that no one has ever seen before! the technibility of both round 3 and cheese and crackers is unbelievable... you just dont see any other skaters doing that stuff and almost every part was perfect

The Circa vid (it's time) was boring.

That "Welcome to Newsford" was a bit shit.


By the way, for the people who didn't get a chance to get a copy of This n That, it's on the front of kingpin this month.

Round Three introduced me to Chris Haslam and when I first witnessed his skating ability, I was amazed!

Serria Fellers, Windsor James and Jon Allie's parts were awesome.

It's free, so you can't complain.

Peoples level of expectation has risen a lot of recent, not many people can have a full section of tricks that make your eyes pop out anymore.

Execptions to this is pj ladd in whl, several of the sections on round three, songs section on skate more and cheese and crackers, honourable mentions also go to darrans section in this n that.There are probably many more, but they spring to mind.

As have most people, ive seen a lot of skate videos...im bored with the format of tre flip set up tricks and nollie heel krooks down rails.I prefer the quirky stuff over hammers. Overall i find videos more enjoyable when after the section all im thinking is 'as if thats even possible'

yeah a part were you can see the skater is just having a good time skating and having a laugh, not being all serious is a winning for me

thats why i dont like to get too involved with fancy tricks coz it takes away the fun for me. which is why id rather be at local park with mates just carving the bowls.

Squadrophenia is epic, I watched it about 5 or 6 times last night at jon's house.

Hammer videos..just not to my liking, cant manage to watch a full section without loosing interest.
