The third one's a joke. It's supposed to be a horror but they failed miserably with the slapstick humor and what not. But still, I love it and wouldn't have it any other way.

I thought the first resident evil was pretty shit, and I never saw the second, but I dont think there has ever been a good movie adapted from a video game.

Tomb Raider was alright. Can't think of any better game-to-movie port. But yes, both Resident Evil films are shit. I like the second one a little better though.
I think that they're good films. It's the films like X-Men and Spidermen that I hate. The cartoons were so much better.
