You don't get a card, Every Hotmail email address is entitled to 1 month of Xbox Live Gold Membership for free. When you put your email address in it'll give it to you

People usually scam microsoft and just make new free hotmail accounts for the free membership, I did it for a while

Yeh im getting a Premium package. but i want to play live, i cant plug it in via a phone wire because i live it the attic. I think we need a wireless router kind of tihng. So basicly, I want a XBOX360 with everything ready to play Live, IE. headset wireless all that crap.

what other stuff will i need and how much will it cost? a list of things needed might be nice

If you want to play wirelessly you need to buy the Xbox wireless kit seperate

Headset comes with the premium, also comes with one wireless controller
