Trix, whats that thing meant to be underneath "theres more to life than myspace" ?
Trix
It's a laptop, the 'There's more to life than myspace' is whats on the screan of it.

Its a good idea trix, the angle of the screen to the keyboard as well as the writing isnt quite right though, couple of quick alterations would have it perfect smile.gif
Trix

Like that?
Serapth
Screen angle is ok, writing just needs altering slightly, write it in paint, save it as a temp desktop image, then take a photo of the screen at a simaler angle, you'll see what i mean. smile.gif
Trix
I know what you mean, I'm just lazy.
Gen

so realism and biro never really went well anyway.

When I started my first degree in architecture I met loads of people who could just draw like that and better..

We'd go on a field trip somewhere and in 5 seconds flat they'd knock up a perfect pencil sketch of whatever building we were looking at...
Amazing..

Me? Well I learned quickly that I had to remember to take a camera...
Trix
Patrick
I want that traffic cone. On my HEAD.
Nice stencil trix.
Trix

And yes I have a traffic cone in my bedroom.

reminds me of something, i just cannot rember what or 'who?'
Trix
It's in no relation to Who? Just part of a group of stencils I made which were all rhetorical questions.
Peter.

I love drawing in pen.

Same here, i usually llike to doodle in biro, its really hard to get some good effects but if you spend long enough on it you can get a really nice picture.
Peter.
Yeah biros the best, I really like the effect of thick scribbly lines
Rodney
That's ace, liking the eyes smile.gif

I find biros alot easier to use than charcoal and the like, they give a far more interesting effect.

They also don't snap and smudge when I get angry with them smile.gif

You draw exactly like my sister.
That's not a bad thing, by the way, just saying smile.gif

I'm forcing myself to draw in biro more often. It's not going very well.
Thumbs up if you can guess who i was trying to draw, but it went wrong.
miktherapy
good thread this, if any of you are interested, i can reccomend this chaps dvds: Structure of Man

its hard going at times but you'd be hard pressed to find a better drawing resource, at least regarding the human form anyway

"art is nature filtered through a personality"
Peter.
I'm forcing myself to draw more often, I'm hopefully taking fine art for 6th form and some of the stuff I've seen from current 6th formers is amazing.
What I love about drawing is when I finish a drawing well, I always amaze myself, like I drew a dog today and I couldn't believe how lifelike it looked. I'll post it up tomorrow.

Probably the best drawing I've ever done.
