I vote we do nothing. You want photography, post in the photography thread and/or join a photography forum. You want games, google them or just go to another forum that has them.
I vote a "Meet Up" sub-forum, because there are millions of meet-up threads floating about all over the place. 'tis a mess.

That is a good idea, maybe a subforum in the skate spots section? Or can you think of anywhere else it could be housed?
I don't suppose it really matters where it is, it just needs to be somewhere people actually look, otherwise they'll never get off the ground.

If thats the case it might be better off in the General Skate section.
I'd agree with that, seeing as that's where they all are anyway

Get rid of the fucking flood control, and a subforum in general skate chat for meets and stuff would be nice.

All flood control does is stops people from going ":D" "loL" "".
If you actualy have anything decent to write it normaly takes longer than 10 seconds to write/think of it anyway :/

Flood control means that Sk8uk crashes less frequently, in the long run it's worth it
Photography section might work, I could have sworn that photography was already separate to videos though. Ah well
Meet up forum is a bad idea, it'll end up with pricks like me saying "I'm going down to Birchwood skatepark tomorrow, want to join me" which will result in lots of people not turning up, except possibly murderers and rapists who now have a convenient place to pick up stalking information in one tiny little package

there is no point, the threads and sub forums that already exist do more than an ample job when it comes to keeping photography and videography discussion going.
its simply needless
i have a suggestion...
bring back rep points.

An educational forum?
Basically how tos on stuff youre likely to do at some point in life.
Serapth
Feb 8 2007, 07:06 AM
They should teach stuff like that at school nf (im not dismissing your idea), basic stuff like how to budget your finances, cook decent meals, understanding of apr, how to use the washing machine and not turn anything pink, basic diy.
Although theses lessons may be irrelevant to the average 14-15 year old, later on in life they would come in handy imo

They are going to, at least the budgeting your finances thing.
I had to have a lesson called enterprise for 4 years which teaches you all about starting up a buisness, budgeting and stuff like that. Supposedly its a great success so it ill be spreading.
Aye, had a workshop at school much like that where we got given a slip of paper telling us hypothetically what job we would endup doing and how much we would earn a year, then a planning thing that showed us how to spend it or something.
I didn't pay much attention, but i kinda wish i had as apparently it's useful.
Ah well.
Food tech teaches you how to cook, Woodworks (although only 5 people in our year took it) sort of is DIY most of the time...
