I’m looking for advice. The local council are proposing a £90,000 outdoor skateboard park in Stourport, but there has been a row as to the correct place to put it. Please can you advice the best possible position.

Also, local skaters and a consultancy firm (Tribe Enterprises) have recommend concrete, but in the past the council have opted for metal ramps on tarmac. Please could you advice and/or provide hyperlinks to support the argument for concrete.

Thank you in advance.

Wow, Stourport getting a skatepark, a little weird but still a local park close to my hometown is always good and I'm glad concrete is where you mind set is, the metal park in Kidderminster isn't what I'd call fantastic. You could look into the company who did St. George's park in Bristol and Perdiswell in Worcester at http://www.wheelscape.co.uk/index.htm . Hope to see some progress soon.

If you ever seen the mess thats been made of kiddy park, you'll understand why metal ramps aren't the best bet for the area. They weren't exactly set up well and they attract people who enjoy lighting fires on them, which causes them to rust. I came out of the bowl looking like i'd chucked fake tan on myself the once.
