If my sources are correct, tickets for Damien Rice's current tour are going for about £25...
Dr. HeartStrings
fuck that.

£15 is my limit on the whole, unless its a band/artist who rarely makes an appearance,

seeing converge in july isn't going to cost me more than £35 in total and i am seeing them 3 times.

Jemmima Puddle Duck
That means he payed £34.99 for them folks tongue.gif
Tony Harrison
why does everyone have a problem with other peoples decions
its patrics and my money
if we want to buy gig tickets tyo a band we love
we will buy them
its 18 pounds get over it
rant over
farmer
i Need to get a ticket for Rock city
Dr. HeartStrings
its not a matter of your decision, if you want to pay extorsionate amounts to see a mediocre band play live, then go ahead, i won't stop you, but £18 is unreasonable for a venue that is at best OK, its promoters taking advantage of the demand...
junk shop loz
I carried the guitarist's brother into an ambulance after he broke his ankle.

On a much more happy note

Red Chord £8

smile.gif
Dr. HeartStrings
exactly!

very happy note!
Matt2k
£18, really isn't that much money
Rodney
It is to see a gig...

If someone offered you a packet of crisps for £18, you wouldn't pay for it, even though £18 really isn't that much money smile.gif
Treflip
Ordered my ticket.

£17.50. A whole 50p cheaper.

Treflip
Still only £17.50.
Patrick
I love how this has turned into a whole money argument.

Silly sad.gif
I'm stoked on the new album coming out soon smile.gif!

I say soon, I mean like May.
Treflip
Who's supporting on the tour?
Patrick
No idea yet.
Treflip
If its BMTH or someone shitty, I'm not going.
Dr. HeartStrings
it'll probably be what ever their promoters think is the next big thing.

so probably something sound a like from the same label or a trustkill/victory band

Seriously. The £20 I get from EMA every week is a fucking lifesaver.

I'd be dead without it. Near enough literally.

Oh and support is...

The Recieving End Of Sirens

and

The Haunt (I think)
Patrick
I just read about it on the FFAF forums...
The Recieving End Of Sirens and some other band are supporting.

...edit ^ Moyno you silly billy smile.gif

You got your ticket sorted?

New album out 14th May.
SUPER stoked about it after hearing 2 tracks off the album already, sounding amazing.
Treflip
I still fucking hate Into Oblivion.

I was hoping for more of Hours, but I have a feeling it won't happen.

WATERFRONT DANCECLUB WORLD EXCLUSIVE!!!
Current mood: Dancey
Category: Dancey Music

Hey pop pickers,

Check out out the Radio 1 Rock Show at 12:00 GMT midnight tonight, Monday 2nd June (or technically Tuesday 3rd June as it's the early hours- confusing...anyway) for the World Exclusive first play of our new single 'Waterfont Danceclub'.

To listen to the show live, go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/rockshow/
You'll need to download one of those media player things to be able to listen so we'd suggest visiting there beforehand to make sure you're all set up and configured and don't miss it.

Although... if you do miss it you'll be able to catch it for the next week by visiting http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/rockshow/ where the show will be archived for you to listen to again.

Enjoy
