I am computerless. It started to emit a burning smell yesterday, so Col opened it up and told me it needed a new fan. He then had a look tonight and discovered it needed cleaning as it was clogged up with 6 years of dust, skin you name it. As he was using metal tweezers (as you do) to pull out the dust from the power supply he then got a 300 watt shock (you mean you're supposed to unplug it from the mains?), causing the house to be plunged into darkness. There was much rejoicing as the lights came on again except now the computer is dead, hopefully he has just blown the power supply and that can be replaced otherwise I will have to find something else to do with my time than waste it on the net. Unless someone would like to buy me a new computer?

Col is now very wired and has the urge to run a marathon.
