so yeah i want to practice airing out of some deep bowls near me. I can air out and roll away across the top but i want to 180 back in. Is there any tips or help people can give me? cheers...
Ben
I find air to fakie's the easiest way to get air, but for a FS air, learn FS 5-0 grinds on the coping. ONce you have those, ride up the quarter to go for a FS 5-0, but just before you hit the coping pop an ollie, but try and throw your body backwards away from the ramp to avoid hanging up on the coping!

ermm im sure i've written a tip about this before

=========Yep thought so=============

key to this is building yourself up... im sure you can 180 easily, so come up to a quarter with hardly any speed and just try a f/s ollie (right down near the flat) Then build yourself up fastest, higher (you'll bail a good few times as you get higher but you'll soon get used to the concave of the ramp your using)... key thing to remember is think about what your doing it on first... if it a 4 ft quarter your gonna have to pop it big tuck it in and pull your body out or your gonna be hanging up (and once you start getting high i fucking hurts landing on your elbow from 9ft up)
If your on a bigger quarter that's going into vert you will hardly need to pop at all and just concentrate on your weight distribution over that ramp - pulling to far out and you'll be landing on flat.

Have fun but take your time, i've seen lots of people fall on there face because they think they can just commit to it like a kickflip on flat. If you take your time and are confident with the transition landing it will come on its own.

Hope this help (probably doesn't make sence)

Cheers
