I do like vietnam films, the only bad one ive seen is we were soldiers. And the music the guy used i think they used on a film 4 advert, anyway it fits realy well with clips from movies and makes any diolog just seem better.
EDIT: wow i just watched the end and the estimation that 42% of the homeless in america are vietnam veterans is just amazing.

it's terrible.
The americans didn't really think about the psychological effects sending a bucnch of me to go kill some people would have on them when they came home. Like 10 years after the war loads ofthe vetenerans that couldn't cope started filling the homless shelters . some of them had developed drug and addicictions and etc because to help them cope.
it's feared the same will happen with Iraq because numbers of veteran homeless people have already seemed to increase slightly.

The beginning is from the intro of Apocalypse Now if I'm not mistaken.

The music at the begining is The Doors, The End which is used in Apocalypse Now and the other track is Godspeed You! Black Emperor, East Hastings which was used in 28 Days Later.
epic stuff.

I didnt like it because it was so patriotic and in the "god bless america" style, i also thought it was repetitive and it had too many shots of people being shot in slow motion, which just got boring and enoying after a while.
