Well, I got a pair, and they are really padded!
The most padded skateshoe I've ever had actually.
They seem to be good for skating in so far, I'll need to wear them in some more to tell you really though.

Got some Circa Remedy shoes, really nice shoes, ride really well, and are pretty durable, lasted me a month before a hole appeared in the side of the shoe
I love them, I got a pair for £17 and another for £21. They are the cheapest pair i've had and probably the best.

I'd Recommend Circa but not Vans, they wear to easily, Globe are my favourtie shoes.
Circa (Along with Lakai) are the most comfiest and amazing shoes ever, You put a pair on and it feels like you've been riding them for about a week, They also have brilliant grip and amazing board feel.
Skated my new Circa today and they are amazing, i've been able to pick up tricks that i lost with these shoes. Circa sieges are thye sickness and just £20 from TK maxx 
i got the exact same thing as the post above. only skated them a few times. good board control but are starting to ware down a bit too fast for my liking. when theres noticable ware down on the toes after the first session then you know somethings wrong
Mine seem to be holding up ok, i got leather sieges and the only real damge is broken laces, the leather hasn't broken yet. Comfy and board control is nice. 
dcs are now officiall my favorite shoe have got 2 pairs one pair is on their way out after 5 months or so and the new pair have hardly any sign of scraping or rips on them

They look nice, circa are nice but mine are a bit to chunky for my liking, holding up nicely though, want to get a pair of vulcs for my next shoes, like the look of Vans AV era
im getting a pair of dcs too i dunno witch ones yet though
