Can anyone recommend me some good movies?

as for recomendations, Black Hawk Down's a winner, as is Platoon.

Last war movie I purchased was Southern Comfort. Good watch.

Black hawk down is okish,just not much depth to it.

My absolute must see war movie recommendation is Brotherhood, its a korean film about the korean war,and is absolutely amazing, WATCH IT!

Watched Crapocalypse Now last night. The Deer Hunter tonight. I've got Black Hawk Down and Saving Private Ryan for sometime in the week.

Apocalypse Now is epic. you shit.

It's suposed to be, some criticize it as pretentious but I've always though it Coppola got his point across.

"We Were Soldiers" was quite good.
"Platoon" is awesome.
"Hamburger Hill" and "Full Metal Jacket" are worth a watch.

I agree with KMA and JamesL "Taegukgi" (Brotherhood of War) is fucking brilliant, I love Korean cinema.

Watch "The Green Berets", a terrible film but so awful it's hilarious, if you don't watch it for comedic value a least watch it just so you can say you've seen the worst war film ever made.

Three Kings is awesome.

Not the traditional 'war' movie but awsome nonetheless.

These kind of films are just too much fro though really....they make me want to cry.

It was allright, but it stole from other films before it, like full metal jacket.

Full Metal Jacket is one of Kubrick's finest, and Platoon is also amazing. Born on the Fourth of July is also a great war flick.

Just watched the entire Band of Brothers series.
