When I started skating we did slides and bonelesses (Correct plural unsure.gif ) and acid drops off kerbs, then we decided to see of we copy that Ollie thing and when we finally saw Public Domain we were off. However the years went by and the kickflip became ubiquitous and as much as I tried I could never land it or Pop Shuv-its for that matter. However that did not matter one jot and I loved the feeling of rolling around.

Now I want to skate again, my ollies are nearly at the point where I am happy with height, I can axle stall on a mini, but what I really want to know is how to kick flip and pop shuv. I have been practicing these constantly and I have read the helpful thread on here (good work all). Through reading that thread I have done everything and believe me I do not lack commitment. I landed my first pop shuv it today but into a nose stall. This has highlighted my issue perfectly and it is something that I never grasped many years ago. My front foot is crap, the damn thing will not lift high enough so has any one got any ideas (Sensible) for training my front foot to rise higher when I am in the air.

The trick to getting height with pop shove its is to pop damn hard with the back foot and suck your feet up, all you really need to do is litterally jump up and the board should come to your feet.
