This game will be available for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. You can purchase it seperately through Steam (PC) or purchase it in Valve's upcoming bundle, The Orange Box, which is multi-platform. The Orange Box features Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal and obviously this. I'll probably get that instead.

this game looks to be good i love the trailer on steam for it when it first came out ever since then ive been excited to see if its upto standard of the old team fortress

It does take a while. It's probably because they update the game every week, meaning updates are being downloaded onto your PC at the same time.
EDIT: Also, the Source SDK has been unlocked, so TF2 map/mod creation can begin!

I bought the orange box, and i fucking hate it.
Half Life is repetative tosh.
portal was a bit of fun, nothing more.
and tf2 was worth 5 minutes of my time.

I saw those scouts in 2Fort before I watched that video. Didn't know what the fuck was going on.
Also, downloaded Fortress Forever today. It's a mod created by die-hard Team Fortress Classic fans, and it's basically what TFC would've looked like if it was ported straight to the Source engine.
