Right ive never really come accross this problem on the past decks ive had but i just bought a chocolate deck and the nose is about 2cm longer and steeper than the tail. This guy at my local skatepark was saying to always skate with the longer end as the tail. If thats the case the graphic is upside down.
So yeh which end do you skate first?

There are perfectly symetrical boards, which are very few and far between and there are boards where the tail is bigger than the nose apparently too, although ive never seen one but as a general rule, the nose is bigger and longer than the tail. Although its entirely up to you which end you skate.

I've got into a habit of having the bigger end as my tail, as I feel it has more pop, and usually seems a bit wider to me. Everyone I meet tells me I'm skating wrong, but it just feels far more comfortable.
Do whatever you feel is right for you. There are no rules to skating

i always skate chocolates and always use the fat end as the nose when regular and tail when in switch. all down to personal preference though.
obviously the deck will last that bit longer if you skate it the other way round, but i find it more comfortable the way i skate it.
just out of interest, what deck is it?

Its the devine calloway robot series deck. Skated the hell out of it today, 7 sets have now become wierdly easy, sick deck.
