I've just moved here and have no skate friends :c
I'm at York Uni successfully failing my course.

So if anyone skates York, please post. I've heard about the Riverside and The Zoo skateparks but I've never been to any of them. I live on Heslington Road (YO10), does anyone know any nearby spots? Also I'm a bit shit at skating. I started 5 years ago and spent 3 years skating flatland and curbs. I quit during part of year 4-5 and then went back in Spring 2007.

Also, I'm sometimes in Ilkley (LS29).

I used to live in york. The skateparks are rather small, and all miniramp stuff (so I could never use them, not being good enough for quarter pipes). I know lots of alright places to skate in huntington or nearish the town centre, but none in heslington.
