why, what's happening to southbank?

swear i heard somewhere that they going to totally close it off to repair/rebuild the foundation structure of the building in a few years or something

Well, as it stands it's only about a third, maybe less of what it used to be. They closed most of it off to have as storage whilst they did up the halls.

As far as i'm aware, the spruce up has completed, so southbank should come back soon. The dude who is the main guy for the halls likes the skaters underneath and want to keep them there.

Meh.. if anyone has any more information, that would be cool.

But I highly doubt it'll be disappearing anytime soon.

didnt they like keep extending onto it but closing off the old bit they opened, i swear they said they were going to open it al up sometime soon

They've been saying that for years now.

I want the old mellow banks back, I've seen them in old photo's they look sick!

I'd rather they just demolished it and built new stuff there. As much as it's a classic spot, it's just full of scene kids in the evenings and pushy locals during the day.
