Alright guys, I'm making a portable skateboard product for my final year project at Northumbria Uni. I'm thinking of a ramp, with maybe an adjustable rail, or ledge on the side. Whatever I choose, I've still gotta prove there is a market out there for it. I've looked at a few proucts out there and they seem pretty lame.
If you're anything like me, you will have been moved on by the police countless times for skating city centres and that. Pretty much, what would you guys want from a portable ramp, like how many features would you like it to have?

Yeah, i think i've seen them, but they are just ramps, i was steering at a product that would have multiple functions, so that you can get the most out of one product. Also, I think I'm using skatelite, so it'll be a lot lighter than metal, therefore, more portable...

Nah, you wan't a kicker ramp, which can be adjusted into a ledge / slope ledge
yeah well that company i was speakin about uses like metal and fibre glass materials lol which can be used against stuff or if you have 2 or more you can make an entire park or halfpipe and stuff

yeah, those are awesome, those ramps. Aren't they just over in the States? thats the problem I was having, over there they have loads on offer, the UK seems to have next to nothing mind.
