Hello everyone..
Brief intro - Have recently started skating again at the ripe old age of 20 after approximately 5 years. Have to say, rather difficult getting back into it after getting a bit heavier. Thought this might be the kind of place to help me orientate myself once more.
From Jersey in the Channel Isles but spend half the year studying in Brighton.

Went out to the miniramp today, managed to bust a BS smith to my delight but I really have forgotten how much skating hurts...
Look forward to chatting to you all.
HARRY.
Welcome to Sk8UK man!

I just restarted skating too smile.gif

It really seems to be gaining in popularity recently, it was popular a few years ago then died down and now I'm seeing more and more people with boards out on the town. Whoopeeee.

Welcome, and enjoy (or should I say enjoi - geddit?) the forums.

@ Oz. -

I've started noticing that too... funny how heads start poking out of the woodwork.
My main inspiration came from chatting to a mate at uni, transpires he was pictured in Sidewalk a few times. Reminiscing led to picking the board up again pretty much. Surprised my Think deck is still in one piece!

Indeed, although my knees are inclined to disagree with you.
