hi all, new to this (a bit!) gotta board for xmas and am gonna be learning to skate with some mates. heard about this forum from a relative that skates hemel way and thought id say hi. love love music and cool ppl

hi darris dunno what board it is blank deck is wot i was told metal bits that hold the wheels on are made by grindking and the wheels are by spitfires
rents spoke to phil before they got it for me
got knee & elbow pads and a helmet as well going out next week to get skateboard shoes any ideas as to what are good?

does skate shoes make a big diference? coz im having trouble just staying on the skate board in a straight line! it keeps going off to the left 
maybe im just crap at this
gonna keep at it 2 of my mates can skate a bit ansd they say its the metalbits that hold the wheels on are wrong any help plz?

When you start doing tricks then you want to get some decent skate shoes..
Until then it doesn't matter..

Just keep centred on the board, try not to lean either way.

If you tighten the bolt in the middle of the metal bits up with a spanner, then the board will turn less.

ok the bolt things on the trucks that have the allen key slot on it should be facing towards the center of the board

yeah thats ^ how it looks my friend jason said the bolts are too tight an he loosed them a bit its a bit more wobbly now but it goes ina straight line. hes tried to show me ollys but i cant get it and twisted my knee when i fell off
