What films would you like to see this year?

I quite fancy Sweeny Todd: Johnny Depp and Tim Burton, fantastic.

I wouldn't mind seeing I Am Legend, and it might be crap but Alien vs Predetor 2: Requiem, I believe there is a sequel to Nightwatch, I might have to see that. And it has to be done, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The X Files movie sequel is supposed to be due out this year too, might have to see that.

And....might have to see Half-Blood Prince to see if they have stuck to the book or not...

I'd just like to see more than one film this year.

Cloverfield.
AVP2.

Cloverfield seems a laugh, Sweeney Todd looks wank not a Depp fan.

I Am Legend.

Who's the lead in Max Payne?
Pippi.P
cloverfield looks rubbish - i saw the new trailer and thought "is this made with the dead film they didnt use from godzilla?"

saw AVP2 the other day - very entertaining if you like either alien or predator - but aint gonna be noted for its human acting!

Go see it! it's amazing.

My friend who hates film musicals and wanted to leave within the first 10 minutes of it ended up loving.

plus, Johnny Depp copies my hair in it, so...

Blech! One of the worst movies I've seen. Ever...disappointed (unsure what I expected though?!) as I love Burton's animated stuff and his book...and Big Fish was pretty good too...

Films I want to see, um...not any remakes of Japanese horror thanks, they're all dire (the remakes not the originals)

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (loved the books as a lighty and this was my fave one along with Voyage of the Dawntreader)
Be Kind, Rewind
In Bruges (mainly to see Fiennes and Farrell mmm mmm)
The Forbidden Kingdom
The Happening (love Shyamalan despite the poopy reviews he gets)
No Country for Old Men
Persepolis
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Star Trek XI (okay it's not out this year, but still just to see how awful it will be)

Those and loads of indies and foreigns I have not yet seen from years long past and recent.
Trix
Gabriel.

MAX MOTHERFUCKIN' PAYNE.
KAONASHI
THE COLOUR OF MAGIC.

Next month. I anticipate it to be the best thing I will see in my entire life. That is, of course, until they make an adaptation of Mort, and not cast David Jason as a character that he bears no fucking resemblence to whatsoever. Albert will do him fine.
Mik3yB
Doomsday
Star Trek (I'm not a fan of the 'Trek really - I'm a JJ Abrams fan)
Paranoid Park (looks like a cool skate movie) Main kid reminds me of Edward Furlong too.
Diary of the Dead
The Happening (Mr Shamalyans new movie)
Incredible Hulk
Iron Man
HellBoy 2
Dark Knight

Let me know if it's any good, and I'll try and use some underhand way of getting my grubby little mitts on it...

Also - please accept my apologies for the double-post.....
Trix
I forgot about Diary of the Dead, add that to my list too.

Aracmia
Still not seen Sweeny Todd, i'll wait till it come out on rental.

I have to see The Lost Boys 2, the trailer looks crap and its not going to be half as good as the original but you have to see thse things just to make sure.

Paranoid Park

It's simply beautiful...

...and Gabriel (mentioned above someplace) was dark and odd and not that great a movie but an interesting watch (bit like The Sin Eater). I couldn't wait to see the main character's tattoo, I don't think we got to see it in totality (fake for the movie, but so was Ralph Fiennes' in Red Dragon and that was ace!)
