Hi everyone,

Been lurking on the forum for a little while now so thought I'd sign up and introduce myself and see if theres any skaters in my area on here.

Started skating again in January this year after a 5 year break (skated for about 18 months when i was 20 / 21 but fell out of it for some reason). I've got the bug more than ever now - helps that I live round the corner from Revolution Skatepark in Broadstairs, Kent.

I know a couple of guys who BMX so I've been going to the skatepark with them so at least im not on my own, but I was wondering if theres any skaters from the SE Kent / Thanet area on here who are in a similar boat to me and fancy a skate sometime. Would be good to have someone to push me and give me some encouragement with my skating for a change - an ipod doesnt do that unfortunately!

Hope to be on the forums quite a bit as I'm a big skate vid and product nut too so it's good to have a place to discuss stuff with fellow UK skaters. In my experience the US forums can be a bit high-and-mighty whereas this place looks much more friendly!

Viv, well I'm currently at about the level I was when I quit 5 years ago - managed to quickly regain my ollie, pop shuv etc and even landed me a couple of kickflips which I could never do before - although takes me about 20 attempts to land 1 hehe.

Just looking at getting more consistant and just having fun with it as we all are. The weather is not helping!

P.S - Cant get enough of EA skate either!
