OK, here's my problem:

I have a deck from argos which I've been keeping for a year now and i want a new 60 pound (in currency, not weight.) upgrade complete from half pipe, I've been asking my parents for weeks.

and that's the problem:

my parents are saying NO ! their reason why, (And this is probably one of the most ridiculous reasons why) the want me to improve......... on my old, crappy board that's not made by a professional who KNOWS skateboarding, but some random person from a Developing-3rd world country

I need your help

Tell them all Argos boards are is nicely painted firewood, and you would improve much quicker on a better board.

get a job

Learn to do something off your own back. Get a job/Save up your pocket money/Whatever.

Tell them that you will save up/whatever and buy one yourself, take them to a skater owned shop and then ask at the shop why a decent skateboard is better than the argos shite you are cursed with.

Er.. what exactly is that?


And 60 squid is a lot of dosh for a parent just to chuck at a kid when it's not christmas or birthday..

I'd not chuck that at my kids for a skateboard (apart from birthday or christmas) if I wasn't a skater myself..

tell them i can sell you a complete that i garantee is better than your "60 pound made by a professional that knows skateboarding" for £45
