personally would have preferred a bit less blur in the grass

yeh, its cause I had the camera on the floor, trying to get down to its level.

Only once id finished. It stopped when it saw me with my camera, let me take all my shots, then when I was walking off, it went on with its journey.

The sign of a good model.
Like the way it's come out, but i'm not too keen on frogs so it doesn't appeal that much to me.

That is such a brilliant shot Tom! Seems to fill up the frame a bit too much, would have been nice to have a bit of room on either side BUT perfect pin-sharp focus on its eye, beautiful DOF, love the way the grass is slightly out of focus at the front and the lighting is absolutely perfect.
You should be proud to have shot that.

Your unqualified critique is beginning to grind.
i would have preferred "s'well gud foto (y)"

word up blaine.
seriously, is there a photo you can just say "i like that" to?
Oz.

Patrick has posted way more critical and in-depth photo critiques, but I don't see either of you being assholes to him.
Harry: I make one small point but make it clear that I love everything else, and you ask if there is a photo which I can't just say "I like that" to? See MK Tom's thread on his APS pics, Trix's thread on Stanley, and have a browse through the Photography Thread.
In fact, I think this is the first time I've actually pointed something out that I don't like, and there are tons more examples of me just linking the photo, but you decide to focus on this one and make it sounds as if I'm constantly fiding flaws with people's pics? Sounds pretty stupid if you ask me. You've obviously put a blindfold on and quickly scrolled down the page every time Patrick has posted a comment in a thread on photography.
Blaine: What does 'unqualified critique' mean? Such a shit attempt at an intellectual comment. Anyone is allowed to have an opinion on a picture - I don't have to have a qualification of any sort to give my opinion.
Good day to you both.

no offence, but when you do it, i pick up on arrogant undertones.
i let patrick do it, 'cos he's naturally miserable and hates everything anyway.
end of argueing. i can't be arsed.
props on this shot btw Tom, i think it's quality.

WTF man. What does that even mean and who were you talking to?
Also, the only thing that pisses me off is you point out everything you like in the photo in an attempt to some smart about general photographic terms, as opposed to critiquing shots.
