Got my new 149 Indy truck today for my first new deck in years. The trucks look slightyly differrent. Bushes look slighty larger on one truck and on the other the Independent logo is not so prominant. Which truck goes on the front and rear of the deck. I have put the one with slightly larger bushes and most prominatnt Indy logo on the front. Is this right?.
dicky boy
they should be exact. where did you gt them from?.

Your sure you've not bought a high and a low. Only silly people do that!
Serapth
It does sound like you have one high and one low, id take them back to the shop and get them to check, do this BEFORE you use them.

Measure the kingpin and the height of the truck. They are Identicle. but one of the rubbers still looks slighty bigger.
Bought the trucks from Slam City Skates.

Think I'll order some dohdoh's today. Removed the bushings and fuck me not one of them is the same size as the rest. What a joke.

best option really i hear indys rubbers crack in the the first few sk8s too. life sucks.

Well, the shop where I purchased the trucks from are sending me a new set of indy rubbers. They did say that maybe they sent a stage 8 and a stage 9 by accident. but as I said before the trucks are identicle apart from the bushings.. They also mentioned that doh dohs won't sit correctly in indy trucks.

All this goes to show.... don't buy indy's, thunders are far supreme!

Replaced with some Bones Hardcores Soft. But think I might need some mediums coz I'm such a fat bastard. Sooooo much more responsive and rebound just like rubbers should.

Don't listen to the shop, bushings should fit any trucks. Although you might have a problem getting them on (I had to force some tracker bushings on an old set of indys), they will fit. And it does sound to me like the shop has sent you two different stage trucks, not that it will make any incredible difference but you should try and get a set of the same trucks. Complain to the shop for being silly.
