Original was fantastic, can EA produce another great skateboarding game?

Any idea as to when it will be out?

Not sure but I have reads that the Tony Hawk's franchise won't be releasing a game this autumn for the first time in 9 years! They are holding back a year to make the 10th in the series be better than the rest. EA may decide to release it this year and reap all the benefits of being the only skateboarding game out this year, we'll see.

So stoked when I heard this the other day!


I can't imagine it been that long. The physics and trick engine is pretty much perfection. Just build new map, characters, clothing options etc etc. Can't really think what the story i going to be seeing as they've covered the whole Get sponsored, get coverage, go pro, win the xgames. Can gather that San vanelona is now bust and your character has done a Salabazi/penny on everyone. But when he comes back what's there gonna be to do?

Hope the game can load your skate one save so you can just carry on with your character.

Include no comply tricks and have the ability to get off your deck.

Tony Hawk is "no srsly, this one is going to be the best" shocker.

I'd prefer a bunch of DLC for Skate, rather than a Skate 2. It's gonna be the same thing.

Yeah I'd love some map packs or even better, a park editor.

Plus a better camera angle and a wider variety of tricks.

Yeah the trick selection is a bit shit. I'd like to see faster loading times, or even better, none at all.

there better be bs/fs this time, otherwise GOS is going to be shite again

there should be the ability to do more lip tricks and eeeeverybody in the ea forums is saying you should be able to get of your board....

You can put your own music in the game already if you have a 360...sort of.

I'd be happy with some new spots, I loved the first game so much, I only really want more of the same. Any improvements would also be rad though
