Not too sure about Newquay street stuff, but do a google search for 'wooden waves' - thats the outdoor park.

I like Newquay, the locals tend to come out at night though, I guess there is too many tourists out in the day. There is Wooden Waves at Newquay, not sure what its like though I have never been there. Mount Hawke is a good skatepark, good place to go if its raining and you feel the urge to skate. I think you will need a helmet though at Wooden Waves and Mount Hawke.
Wooden Waves there is some vids of Mount Hawke up on youtube.
When in June are you going?

went last year with mates after exam finished and most the surfaces are shocking
theres a park when you see if you arrive on the train that looked pretty nice but never went there as it was a trek to get there from where we were staying

Hire yourself a spongie and catch a swell mate. And watch out for the localism.

Ahh right, I'm hoping to go towards the end of June. I did want to go to the vert comp in August but I am unable to get down there then.

Not sure of what day I will be in Newquay, if at all. But I am off there next week, if it rains there is a possibility could be seeking refuge in Mount Hawke.
