hey, new to this forum. not much of a skater myself, but i like to take photos. went out for a session at a school, then to a council place, then found a beast of a spot 'the roof'. tips on how to take better photos would be cool.

higher shutter speed to stop the motion blur
but otherwise i wont pretend i know much else

Try every angle you can think of, ask the skater to keep going 'till you find the best angle and just practice practice practice haha
