Hi.
I've decided I might buy some new wheels for my board so as you can imagine I've got a few questions:
What is the difference between hard and soft and what benefits/downsides do they have?
Which is the best thickness to get?

They're all the questions I can think of now but if there are any other things I should know please tell me.

Also, I noticed the other day that my friends wheels were smaller and spun for longer when not on the ground, whereas mine are bigger and don't spin for that long....does that matter?

Oh and does anyone know any good skate shops near or in Birmingham/Dudley...
Help would be appreciated =D

If you're after getting more speed out of your board, you need new bearings as opposed to new wheels. It shouldn't really make a difference how hard or soft your wheels are, you're not really going to notice any real difference when you start.

I think there's a skate shop in Birmingham called Exit (correct me if i'm wrong), if you explain to them your situation they'll be happy to help. smile.gif

There's a SOS in Birmingham called Ideal.

Really nice guys in there and they'll sort you out with what your looking for.

Ideal and Colour skateshop are in Brum.

Exit's in Leeds I think.

Thanks. I've looked at Ideal on the web and found these wheels

They look good??
I don't want wheels over about 53mm. So they're just right.
