Extreme Sports Development Officer

The town of Wirksworth in Derbyshire is seeking to recruit an Extreme Sports Development Officer. Volunteers in the town secured funds to develop a skate park on the Fanny Shaw Community Park which is starting to be used by young people.

The town now seek an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised development officer to expand Extreme Sport opportunities and co-ordinate a programme of activities to increase participation and accessibility over the next two years.

The successful candidate should have experience of successfully developing sports opportunities as well as working with volunteers, schools and community organisations. Employment will be subject to an enhanced CRB check.
