OK, so i went into my local skateshop (RouteOne), found a deck i liked, picked it up and this store dude comes up and goes, "hi, can i help you." I replied with a erm. Im not really sure at the moment. and then he said to me, "what is your set present setup". i said i have a stateside mini voltage classic 2 ( shocking i know, im kinda new to skating though..). So he goes," ooh, if you get that deck, you really should get some new trucks, coz those are gonna be bad for that deck if you buy it". So that means i gotta spend like an extra £40 (which i really don't wanna have to shell out on) to get new trucks!.

so do old truck, bad ones, actually do anything bad to a expensive, pro deck?

thanks for help, sorry if i warbled on a bit. tongue.gif

if you are just starting, stick with your current trucks. if you fancy buying some new trucks, then buy them. it won't kill you either way.

no set of trucks is going to be 'bad' with a particular deck. its just a matter of preference.
