Work may suck, but the reward is worth it, otherwise no-one would do it. Quit moaning and count your blessings that you actually have a job.

I fucking love employment. I get up every morning at 7am and get back home at 8pm or later every night. It gives you focus, and a enormous sense of well-being; I'd rather that than being a slothfuck who has no real purpose in life. Sure money comes into it and I'm still poor as shit but I revel in being having enough to get by, then scraping bits to do something erratic now and again. If I was unemployed I would be totally fucked for money.
Also, weekend are so much more enjoyable when you look forward to them, rather than it being just another day.

i labour in london, mon-fri, 8am-5pm usually.
it's just a summer work thing, but it really does give you a sense of what the working world is like.
and how hard it actually is to earn money.

Answer - whenever someone says the word "question" in that way, it always hear it said by destiny's child ala independent woman part 1.

I did wonder if that was the reason. I prefer Elbow's cover of that song. I can't find it on youtube but there is a site where its played by kittens.

Yes, if you stick with Tescos, then you'll get a couple of payrises, time and a half on sunday and 10% off. I'm not sure about Asda. Although, you'll have to bear in mind that it will be extremely boring work. From experience, i would say that getting paid for really boring work is better than not getting paid. I quit my last job cause it was so awful and i really regret doing so, cause i've been broke for the past 3 months, desperately looking for another job.
If i was you i'd get a job at either of them, then keep looking for something better.
