i have a old board good conntion but i tryed a ollie to day and i jumped 1st and than tryed to kick it ... failed never got off ground.....um is it that or just kickdown really hard on back end and than jump up than drag your feet to the top and lvl out.........and my frenid wants to know if whight matters in this because he got a little bit of a whight problem......

Well. A few months ago I would have thought it mattered but now i can kinda assure you that even ppl with weight problems can ollie and do other nifty tricks - they just have to practice as everyone else has to.

surprisingly enough not necessarily. I dont know why, but I know slim people who snap decks easily and, umm, people with quite some weight problems doing proper tricks without snapping their decks too often.... i dont understand it though - just the physical fact of more pressure on the board the more weight you have not resulting in boards snapping sooner? eh?

have you seen half the skaters in britain it's like a moob fest. Hell i'd be first in line.
don't worry about your weight and don't start eating less otherwise you'll never have any energy and proberly stop diong the best sport in the world.......skateboarding

weight hasnt got much to do with that...im under 10 stone and i snapped my kingpin y/d doing a frontside flip...kick flip style...its the way u8 land on the board...
