I've been surfing for a few years now but recently had to move to london for work. As you know, london is not renowned for its 'world class breaks' or 'sandy beaches' so my time in the water has taken a tumble...hence this message!

I figuered the next best thing to do was to take up skating. The only problem is i'm shit at it! And at the ripe old age of 24, I'd feel like a bit of a dick falling around the place, arse over tit, on my tod! So, If there is anyone out there that skates regularly around Clerkenwell, Hoxton or Liverpool St area, and wouldn't mind showing a novice a thing or two, i'd appreciate it.

cool.

yeah, keep at it dude. you'll get the idea soon enough. being a surfer at least your balance is good, that's more than some start with!
London has loads of places/parks to skate, if you wanna practise alone, go early or during school times and you should find most places pretty deserted.

peace

that would suck, I surf and hate being out of the water for longer than a week, the closest thing to surfing on a skateboard is one of those big carve boards
Spence
Thats long ones?
