Only been skating about 4.5 months and my deck has really taken a battering. The ends are chipped up and split and i dont know wether I should retire the deck as its seems to have lost its pop.

When should you retire a deck, Soon after its splits or do they still keep going?

Cheers!

Just been paid so money isn't an issue. my point is though, does having the tail chipped effect your Ollies. Its pretty fucked up and I swear its not popping as well as it did???

Lots of things affect your ollie.. Sometimes the board gets internal cracks you can't see.. Sometimes it goes soggy.. Sometimes you get so pissed off with it that your ollies are affected..
If you want a new deck get one!
