Hey im definately the funniest newbie, I work as a designer for a playground company and have got dragged into designing skate parks somehow, anyway I sk8, so i got a board and tried and was crap at first but still really liked it.
Im a bit confused about the different gradings of bearings? So if someone could advise it would be great as i have plastic trucks at the mo so i want to change, but need advice.
Oh by the way im 34 and female ha ha ha ha

Well when i say dragged in, there was months of training and standards of safety to study before i could do one.
The skating is going really well if anyone is interested and learning to switch. Once i get new set up things will be smooth.... did anyone go to Nass05, my company paid for me to it was awesome.....

Wow, 3 whole months... And those safety standards are a bloody joke. They miss the really obvious dangerous things.. Who do you work for anyway?

I am aware of that, so that is why i am learning, all of our skate consultants are skaters so i am learning. I understand the importance of this.

You work for skatestone, they are the company that designed and built my local skatepark back in April, it turned out good apart from some simple thigns went a bit cocked up due to lazy workers, like the metal roll up plates on the quarters and flatbanks have dented slightly because nothing was put underneath, and the workers said they would put stuff underneath!
