Are there any decent spots in rochester itself?
Ive been skating the medway towns for close to 8 years now and rochester, although it is a meeting/hanging point for alot of alternative kids, there isn't actualy that much to skate in Rochester itself. The fact that the town is fucking old and covered in cobbles doesnt help.
But there are a couple of spots such as the kings school primary playground which has a grass gap, little bank and tiny wooden ledge. not bad for a kick about but
be sure to only go there after 6pm on weekdays and saturdays. It's easy to get chucked off so when they ask you to leave just leave, dont argue back or they'll take more steps to stop us skating and that'll be that spot shut down.
Theres also the "coach park" which is just a car park to practice or warm up before heading to chatham.
chatham really is the better place to skate in medway cause you got the marble ledges, various banks dotted around and plenty of concrete to explore. just dont get beaten up.
