A great deal depends on your budget, how much you planning to spend?

And i would avoid world decks, overpriced crap is an understatement.

Hahah! Yeah i went through a 'THPS' phase when i was young, I had a tantrum cause my mum wouldnt buy me a skateboard on holiday, then i found 50 dollars at the bottom of a swimming pool and went and bought it straight away :D my best mate got a skateboard too and we learnt together. A month later he was 360 fliping, I was so jealous that i gave up. He's now won a few local comps in paris where he now lives, and is on his way to become pro, the bastard biggrin.gif

Get a pair of Krux/ Tensor trucks, Blank wheels and Bones Reds bearings. Altogether that should come to around £60.

Thanks for the advice, but I went to my girlfriends house today and her brother overheard me saying that i was going to buy some trucks and wheels and he goes 'oh you can have mine if you want i havnt used my board in months!
So he gave me a set of tensors with wheels and bearings for free! biggrin.gif so now Im all sorted out with my first board:)

if your mate to learnt how to tre flip in a month he either lied to you and could skate before or theres something wrong with him.. most people i meet it takes them a good two years of skating to get tre flips properly down.. huh.gif

This guy is strange, he was snowboarding black runs on his second day boarding.
He came mountainboarding with me and went from beginner slope straight to the professional boarderx track which took me a year and a half.
he did agressive blading before he started skateboarding, he dropped in on a 6ft mini ramp after an hour at the park, two weeks later he was going up the mini ramp and doing handstands, walking along on his hands, and dropping back into the ramp.
He learnt drums and became teaching grade in just over a year.
Hes that kind of person who can catch on to anything just like that, probably because when he gets an idea in his head he just practices at it solidly every second he can.
As you can tell, he is my nemesis, I am SO jealous of him hahah!
I'll have to get him to send me some pics of him skating.
Peace
H

P.S. Starting to get used to skating a normal board now, gonna go practice ollies in the street and annoy the neighbors:D
