a video to accompany my written trick tip for pressureflips
http://media.putfile.com/pressureflip-for-trick-tipand the trick tip:
1) Look at your board, and mentally divide it into 3 sections. The first starts at the tip of the tail and ends at the back two bolts of the back truck, the second is the main body of the board up to the front two bolts of the front truck and predictably the third is from the front bolts of the front truck to the tip of the nose.
Place your back foot on the tail so that your big toe is resting on the line you have mentally drawn for section one. Make sure it is pointing out of your toe side rail at an angle of about 45 degrees.
Place your front foot in the middle of section two, where ever it feels comfortable, the actual position of the front foot is not too important as all it needs to do is get out of the way (much like the aforementioned pop shuvit).
2) Also like the pop shuvit, there is no ollie required, just a little pop down of the tail.
3) After popping the tail down, try and scoop your foot as if you are trying to get the back foot beneath the back truck. This helps the board not only complete the 180 for the shuvit, but also sets the flip in motion.
4) Pull your front foot out of the way whilst this scoop occurs, anywhere will do. I find straight up to your chest works best, as with practise you may find that where ever you bring your feet up to, the pressureflip just shoots up to meet them!
5) Continue to bring you back leg up to about the same level as the front one.
6) AT this point he board should come up to your feet, however this will take practise, for the first few successful flips the pressureflip will squirt and squirm helplessly across the floor. Don't worry you'll soon get out of the habit.
7) Because of the manner of the flip, the landing isn't too much trouble as the board always stays beneath you, its just a matter of perfecting the rotation of the flip.
8 ) Cool Continue to bring your feet down on the bolts, taking the board with you.
