Seriously, good luck mate with your shop, but dont count yourself outa skating, i have sh*tty knees too so i understand (probably not as bad as yours, but when they do decide to not work, then i cant skate for a while) but opefully you'll build up the strength again. Ill be down your shop, skater - owned is the way.

man kevin that really does suck. sorry to hear it. i seriously hope my knee's dont get that bad, my first troubles started 4 years ago when i played football!! when i wake up in the morning to do my paper round they dont feel too good, but then they are ok after about 2o mins

I think this could be the end of my 10 year stint of none stop skateboarding. went to see the physio and my knee is still f*ck so im thinking of quiting but i will work even harder to open the shop ive been plannin on doin so i will still be involved and make the sport greater than it is.

That's a bummer. Good luck with the shop and all, and don't give up. Injuries take time, but at your age they should heal. Give it a year or so, and I hope you make it back.

i shattered my knee cap and i wouldnt recommend it to any1. ive now got a metal knee cap thats not the right shape so im sueing the surgeon and have surgery again.

99.9% off?
My knees are a bit stiff when I don't skate for awhile but they used to be worse until I started taking this calcium supplement thing..
i gotta have fluid injections once a month to keep my knee lubricated. it hurts like f*ck.

Yea' it's harsh but the body has a clock...good luck with your shop tho'....
just take it easy man, youll soon be good enough to ride again im sure, and youre shopll stiil be a skater owned shop, even if youre injured whichmeans youll get support from the skate community, i mean ill need new bearings soon so ill try to get em off you when you set up shop
