Hey what exactly is the difference between hi and low trucks -
Is it that the wheels are further away from the deck so that the whole board is "higher"
Or is it that the hanger extends higher past the kingpin, so that you do not scrape the kingpin when you grind?
the difference between high and low is the distance between the axle and the board is higher so your wheels have more clearance (i.e. better for bigger wheels)

And low trucks giver a lower centre of gravity which makes flip tricks that little bit easier.

Do you think that the weight of trucks matter alot? Like i did skate venture lows before my indy stage 9s and i think i notice a diffrence interms of weight but it might just be me.

i weighed my venture lows and my indy stage 9 trucks and there isnt much difference between the two at all, venture weighing 342g and indy weighing 345g, so i dont think the weight between them two is going to make much difference at all

i have heard a lot of people claim that royal trucks are very heavy, however i weight my venture low's last night and they were 336g, and i weighed my royals, and they were 340g, so how can four grams make so much difference

they may be the sale indys from last month from shiner they were bout £9 each in small quantities so in bigger orders may have been cheaper, i dunno just an idea
EDIT: but they would still make a loss even in big quantities just worked it out, so that doesnt sound right at all

Are Tensor Trucks Any good?

Feb 25 2007, 02:30 PM
I never liked them because the turning was horrible, and I hate that plastic thing on the base. From what I have heard the new series is alot better because the kingpin is lowered and the turning is better. I still wouldnt use them, Royals or Independent are the best!
