well i dunno depends on your ability cos a kickflip is esay but tricky if you cant ollie very high
try ashuvit or popshuvit there quiet easy.

Claire
Erm.. You can ollie sometimes on flat?

Why don't you work on your ollie or maybe your manuals before you try to flip the board.

Flipping it can freak you out, so get confidence on the board before you try varial flips!
Ben
Yeah what Claire said, get more confident on your board first. And then what sk84satan said, try some shuvits, they are easiest in fakie at first. Thats the first trick I learnt really!
No.Turning.Back.Now
dont learn shuv its in fakie first, i had shit loads of trouble with em in fakie, how high can you ollie?
Ben
I think they are the easiest trick to learn, but thats just me. I couldnt do normal shvits for months!
Meliv
You may have the ollie down but always keep practicing it. That's what I learned
No.Turning.Back.Now
or even try ollie manuals
metty
i could ollie after a few days but i kept practising ollies becus without clean ollies ur gonna get sketchy
Ash.W
Practice getting more consistent then learn shuvits
No.Turning.Back.Now
maybe even learn to ollie in switch

a kickflip would be the easiest

I feel you should start learing a kickflip, but still carry on pulling ollies, maybe get the tony hawk dvd vol 1 you can download it free if yoh have kazza or limewire. They will take u thought the things.
pleseskateinsoton
alternitively just learn to do ollies over/down things, tis good for gainin confidence and plus its more rewarding

learn to ollie at a good speed, get them to a nice height, try grabbing them indy or mute. just keep doing it and doing it, ollie north tail grabs down a few steps is the best feeling ever but of course like most tricks it takes lots of practice and then some more. i had good fun learning ollie airwalks, its not all about flips, just keep trying and dont get too disapointed if it feels like it wont happen, frustration can be your enemy sometimes. chin up keep going
