I think i mentioned this in another post but they have released dates now so i thought it deserved its own thread.

The dates are 6th-8th August, in Newquay, Cornwall on Fistral beach. If its anything like last year the finals will be on the 8th. Terence Bougdour, Juergen Horrwarth, Jussi Korhonen and my favourite Jocke Olsson will be in attendance.

Last years winners were:
Overall Winner - Jocke Olsson (who was hitting ten foot of air on the vert, he attempted the 900 but was unable to land it even though he managed the rotations, he did land several McTwists though.)
Best Air Trick - Jussi Korhonen (backside cab alleyoop heelflip body varial)
Best Lip Trick - Juergen Horrwarth (cab frontside revert smith to fakie)

All these guys will be back to defend their title apparantly.
There is also going to be a mini ramp there for public use with demos and tutorials. Last year they were letting people on the vert providing they had the right gear on and when it wasn't in use by the pro's. If your down Cornwall you have to see this it was amazing last year.

Hey, there's no point bitchin about it, as far as i recall no-one but Darris really bothers posting up stuff like this, and she's doin it cos she wants to. If you wanna know about underground stuff ask if anyone knows or find the info yourself

the whole death pro team are complete d*cks, they think the yare way better than the AMs and they always do sh*t to us. the only decent guys are the callows.

I don't trawl the net for amateur comps, if i do find reference to any i will put them up, in fact i have put up a few comps for amateurs to enter. Read through the news section. I put one up not so long ago about Natural Born Skaters tour.

The best thing to do if your looking for amateur comps is to check out skatepark's websites and check their news and events section.
