Most of my friends gave up in the early 90's as they started to get into different things and they skated less and less until they gave up.
Its not a case of they weren't really into skating just the fact that as you grow up you want to experience different things.
Most of my friends never went back into skating but a couple of them started back up again two years ago and they love it even more now.

Yeah, but i can't see that you will just 'drop' something that you are into. Yeah, u may cut down, but you don't eliminate something from your life that you really care about

i been skating for about 3 years now but i did not skate that much about 2 years ago then i quit for a year and now im back skating and getting as good as ever :laugh:
only been back in to it for about 3 months now and need to get a new deck soon that will be my 3rd one since i got in to skating crazy next one il prob get a cheaper deck like a seista one

Sorry to hear that but it happens. The demon drink and women are normally the causes of people giving up skating.

i quit for like 3 weeks, just picked it back up, lol...not a big break but long enough. But its really cuz of snow and everything. I really didn't have any urges to skate either. f*cking like 1 foot of snow here...i hate it! and it won't be gone for awhile.

ive only just managed to find some1 to sk8 wiv, all my m8s are into different things, i had to convince him to start skating but now he loves it, but i barely get a chance to skate cos im in the middle of nowhere and there is no concrete only gravel grass and these rough paving slabs, but i just stay still and try flatland trick, im sh*t tho!!! can ollie, fakie ollie, (getting nollies just) almost heelflipping, pop shuvits, boardslides havent tried since last time i fell off and broke my wrist so i prob cant do them any more, must try sometime)
